Jessica Fitzpatrick
Child & Adolescent Psychologist

Jess is a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting children and young people. She enjoys working with presentations of anxiety, mood concerns, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, and poor self-esteem, and has experience working with various neurodevelopmental differences such as autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability.

Central to Jess' approach is her person-centred philosophy, where she tailors therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes that a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of meaningful change. Jess is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and neurodiversity-affirming space where each child and young person's strengths are acknowledged and celebrated.

She works with children, young people, and their families to build on existing strengths, develop practical life skills, and explore personalised strategies that empower them to thrive. Jess draws on a variety of therapeutic models — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and strength-based and mindfulness-based approaches. When working with children, she also utilises creative and play-based techniques.

Outside of work, Jess loves connecting with family and friends, going to the footy (Go Pies!), discovering new shows and movies, and travelling.
