Cedrick is a registered psychologist who is deeply committed to supporting children and young people to thrive and live happy lives. At the heart of Cedrick’s work is the therapeutic relationship. He values taking the time to build safe, genuine, and trusting connections with clients, meeting them where they are at.
He values working in partnership with his clients and parents to achieve positive outcomes and ensure families feel heard and empowered. Drawing on a client-centred approach, Cedrick aims to meet the child’s unique needs and creatively incorporates their interests to make therapy engaging and meaningful. He draws on techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when working with clients.
Cedrick enjoys supporting young people experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, emotional dysregulation, and challenges with self-esteem. Through his work in private practice settings and schools, Cedrick has developed a passion for supporting families through psychological assessments. He enjoys helping families recognise their child’s strengths, understand differences, and identify helpful supports. Cedrick has experience working with various neurodevelopmental presentations, including autism, ADHD, and learning differences.
Outside of psychology, Cedrick enjoys watching movies, playing video games, cooking and baking, painting, and is always on the lookout for a great cup of coffee.
