THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
Ari is passionate about providing and further assisting children and young people with the tools they require to achieve positive outcomes across a variety of domains. His aim is to identify areas of improvement and effectively facilitate them in reaching their personal milestones while cementing a healthy personal growth.
He’s a firm believer that a harmonious therapeutic relationship and growth-promoting climate is crucial to beneficial outcomes. To reach this he actively works with parents and clients ensuring a positive and rewarding experience. Ari is a very empathetic, accepting and compassionate person who takes a person-centred approach when working collaboratively with clients and parents.
To assist in enabling growth and achieving their goals, Ari implements evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches when working with clients.
Ari fully endorses that participating in the client’s journey and being able to witness their growth and flourishment is equally beneficial to all parties involved.
Outside of his professional work, Ari enjoys watching sports both locally (AFL) and internationally (FIFA World Cup and European Leagues). He stays active through regular exercise, hiking and walking his dogs. He also enjoys spending quality time with family, travelling, and exploring different foods and cultural experiences. But his primary passion remains reading, particularly in history and philosophy.
