Ari is an Educational & Developmental Psychology Registrar who is passionate about supporting children and young people to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop practical strategies to navigate everyday challenges. Ari values helping children and young people recognise their strengths, celebrate progress, and build skills that support them both now and into the future.

Ari's works closely with those struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, behavioural challenges, depression and negative thinking, social and relationship difficulties, and school-related stress. Ari also has experience supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents, including those with autism, ADHD and specific learning difficulties.

Ari tailors therapy to each child’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. He draws on evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and strengths-based strategies to support emotional wellbeing and resilience. Ari is also a Cool Kids Accredited Provider.

Ari takes a strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, recognising and valuing each child’s unique way of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. He is passionate about meeting young people where they are at, helping them feel understood, supported, and empowered in their own identity and abilities. Central to Ari’s approach is the belief that strong therapeutic relationships are the foundation for meaningful progress. He prioritises creating a safe, warm, and collaborative space where children, adolescents, and their families feel heard and supported throughout the therapeutic process. Parents often appreciate Ari’s calm, empathetic, and approachable nature, along with his ability to connect authentically with young people.

Outside of his professional work, Ari enjoys watching sports both locally (AFL) and internationally (FIFA World Cup and European Leagues). He stays active through regular exercise, hiking and walking his dogs. He also enjoys spending quality time with family, travelling, and exploring different foods and cultural experiences. But his primary passion remains reading, particularly in history and philosophy.
